Horton Vision 175 - Pinnacle Of The Crossbow World?

The Horton Vision 175 Crossbow is seen as the ultimate ready made, non-custom crossbow on the market. When I was in the market I shot probably ten different crossbows and stopped when I shot the vision for the first time. I  knew as soon as I shot this thing that it was exactly what I was looking for. I went home did some research on the web in a few survival forums that I belong to and found nothing but rave reviews on the Horton Vision 175 Crossbow. A day later I was the proud owner of one.

Besides the great stats surrounding the accuracy of this weapon, the first thing that you will notice when you pick it up it is that it is evenly balanced. As a beginner in the crossbow world I didnt even think about how front heavy virtually all crossbows are. The Horton Vision 175 is so well banlanced that you can hold it with one hand and fire it.

The next thing that I noticed was how quiet it is compared to all of the other crossbows that I have shot. EXTREMELY quiet.Ultimately the even balance, quietness, accuracy, and hell, the overall cool factor, were the deciding factors for me.

I liked this bow so much that I created a review page complete, with stats, videos, pictures and helpful purchasing information on this crossbow. You can find it here Horton Vision Crossbow Review

Maxpedition Review - Best Bug Out Bag?

I recently picked up a Maxpedition Sitka for use as a general concealed carry/ everday backpack/ Bug out bag. This is my first Maxpedition bag and the hype that I have read about this gear is nothing but true. I purchased it from amazon and as soon as I got my hands on it I knew that it was rugged and extremely well made. The "Gearslinger" style of the Maxpedition Sika allows you to get to your gear on the run. You can very easily access all parts of this bag while it is still secured to your body. This was a huge feature for me because I hate taking a backpack off and rumaging through its contents especialy in a concealed carry senerio. The contents inside the pack stay put with the use of dividers, internal pockets, heavy duty elastic straps etc. The elastic straps that are found on the inside of the pockets are perfect for knives, flashlights, extra clips etc. Everything has its place and and stays there even when you are fast on the move. Stays quiet too.
